Last year's MacBook Pro is a powerful machine that incorporated the new Apple M1 chip to staggering effect. The model on offer here has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal SSD storage – which is more than enough for regular users – plus a 13in retina display and a new-and-improved battery. It has been cheaper, but this is still an excellent price on a gorgeous laptop.

4. ASUS TUF Dash (was £1320, now £1030)

The ASUS TUF Dash is our favourite budget gaming laptop bar none. For this price tag you shouldn’t even get close to the lofty GPU heights of an RTX 3070. What’s more, the Dash gives you an impressive battery life for on-the-go sessions. To top it all off is an Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB of RAM, with a 1TB SSD. For this price tag, this deal is unbeatable.

9. Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (was £800, now £650)

It may not be the fastest Chromebook out there, but the Acer Spin 713 has an extremely convenient convertible design and a great battery life. Its 3:2 QHD+ display was also worthy of our Best Buy award, so we couldn’t recommend it more. At this current price, you’d struggle to find a Core i5 laptop with 8GB of RAM for cheaper.
